Wellness in Motion Boston is proud to be a preferred provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Cigna, Tufts, Aetna and Mass General Brigham (formally Allways). To find out more about your chiropractic benefits, you can call the member service number on your card.
*If you are a NEW CHIROPRACTIC PATIENT please note that not all our practitioners are covered by the same Insurance Carriers. Below is a listing of our coverage:
Blue Cross/Blue Shield: All Practitioners
Harvard Pilgrim: All Practitioners
Aetna: All Practitioners
Mass General Brigham (formally Allways): All Practitioners
ASH/Cigna: Dr. Zuback, Dr. Paula and Dr. Carlucci
Tufts Commercial Plans Only (we unfortunately do not accept Tufts HealthConnector or Tufts Direct/BMC plans): Dr. Paula
For all other insurance companies: we are considered "out-of-network providers". Our staff will be able to provide you with itemized receipts for you to submit to your insurance company. You will then be reimbursed directly from them. It's always a good idea to check with your insurance provider to determine if you have “Out of Network Chiropractic Coverage.” If you have any questions, the staff at Wellness in Motion Boston, will be happy to help you.
*Our Physical Therapists are currently covered by BCBS, Mass General Brigham (formally Allways), Aetna and Harvard Pilgrim. Our "out-of-pocket" rates for Physical Therapy are $150/Initial and $120/Follow-ups with a 6-Appointment special of $650.
***If you are on Medicare, we are happy to offer our Active Release Technique, Graston and other manual therapies from our Chiropractors at our OUT-OF-POCKET rates as they are not covered by Medicare. As we are not on the Medicare panel, we are unable to perform any chiropractic manual adjustments to Medicare patients regardless of whether you are willing to pay out of pocket.
At this time we are not accepting any Medicare patients for Physical Therapy, Acupuncture and Podiatry care. Unfortunately, under the Social Security Act, we are not allowed to accept any Medicare patients even if willing to pay out-of-pocket. We are sorry for this inconvenience and we are happy to refer you to practices that do.
